The milestones
of a success story
A lot has happened since the company was founded in 1979: The company has grown from a handful of employees to an important employer in the region. In the beginning the company manufactured pressing, punching and deep-drawing tools. Just a few years later it specialized in pneumatic and mechanical handling systems for the plastics industry. This was the basis for today’s handling equipment of complex automation chains.
The tireless efforts of the employees have constantly improved the systems in terms of speed and precision. A milestone was reached in 2006 with the first 64-tip pipette system with online filter loading. This was followed just one year later by the longest fully automated online production system to date, which was delivered to the USA. A particularly nice appreciation was the business award of the Swissregiobank AG in 2010, which honored Zubler Handling AG for its innovative and successful work.
In 2013, it was time for our founder Karl Zubler to pass his life’s work into new hands. In a classic management buy-out, four long-serving members of management team took over the company and have since been successfully running it together with the experienced team. In 2015, a building extension was ready for use: the production area was doubled to over 1000 square meters. In 2016, Zubler was able to present the world’s first 128-place pipette tip system in Düsseldorf.
In order to optimize production and maintain the important of compactness, the largest expansion project to date started at the beginning of 2022. By 2023, a further 1,200 square meters of assembly and test area and an additional four floors of offices and employee space, with a total of 1400 square meters, will be realized. Together with the existing buildings, these will form our new company campus.

Zubler Handling AG is specialized in customized handling systems for the plastic injection mold industry. These are servo-controlled handling equipment with very sophisticated camera systems for quality control, paired with stacking and packaging units. These are not series products, but customized one-off products.
